Kaibab National Forest By Aaron Johnson, Joel Anderson, 2020
- Kaibab National Forest
While the American National Parks and National Monuments tend to take center stage, there is a special kind of wild beauty in our country’s National Forests. Case in point, the Kaibab National Forest is a wilderness beauty, a massive expanse of protected land that covers 1.6 million acres of trees, prairies, hills, and canyons. Kaibab National Forest is the home of hundreds of animal species, as well as thousands of insect and plant species. Wild and rural though it is, Kaibab National Forest offers campsites, hiking trails, and even a furnished cabin for its visitors. Inspired by the vast, protected lands of Kaibab, Anderson Design Group rendered vintage travel art of the protected region, hand-drawing and painting an image of a buffalo cow and her young. Available as a print, poster, notecard, postcard, or metal sign, this artwork makes for a fantastic souvenir or keepsake from a trip to Kaibab National Forest.
